The beautiful city of Norwalk, Conneticut is located about an hour North of NYC on the Long Island Sound.  The town is a perfect getaway weekend from the city.  It feautres an  aquarium, a children’s museum, beaches, delicous restaurants, hotels and fun shopping options!

The highlight of our trip was a visit to the Maritime Aquarium.   The Mission of The Maritime Aquarium is to inspire people of all ages to appreciate and protect the Long Island Sound ecosystem and the global environment through living exhibits, marine science, and environmental education.  The aquarium features stingray you can touch, an Imax theatre and sea life of all kinds.  They do studies and educational boat rides on the Long Island Sound.  The aquarium is sure to please every member of the family.  Learn more about it here: https://www.maritimeaquarium.org/.
